Delete Your Flora Account

This page explains how to delete your account for Flora (app.flora.reader), what data is removed, and what we keep.

1. Delete from inside the app

The quickest way, if you have Flora installed:

1. Open Flora and go to the Profile tab
2. Scroll to Account and tap Delete Account
3. Confirm — you'll be signed out immediately

2. Request deletion by email

If you no longer have the app installed, email hello@awwtomato.com from the address on your Flora account with the subject “Delete my account”. We'll verify the request and confirm once it's scheduled.

3. The 30-day grace period

Your account is locked as soon as you request deletion, and permanently erased 30 days later. During those 30 days you can undo it by signing back in and choosing Keep My Account.

The delay is deliberate — it means an accidental tap, or someone else getting into your account, can't destroy your library irreversibly. After 30 days the deletion cannot be reversed.

4. What gets deleted

• Your account — name, email address, and login credentials
• Your library — reading progress, finished books, and reading streak
• Books you uploaded — the original EPUB/PDF files and everything derived from them
• Your annotations — highlights and notes
• Your AI conversations — every character chat and its history
• Notification tokens — so we can no longer send push notifications to your devices

5. What we keep, and why

• Purchase records — the amount, currency, date and store transaction ID of any credit purchase. Tax and accounting rules require us to retain transaction records, so these are kept for as long as the law requires. They are disconnected from your identity during deletion: once your account is erased, nothing links a transaction back to you.
• Public-domain books in our catalogue are not tied to your account and are unaffected.

Deleting your Flora account does not cancel or refund purchases made through Google Play or the App Store. For refunds, contact the store you bought through.
