These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Flora, an AI reading companion app, and any other products offered by Awwtomato (“Awwtomato,” “we,” “us”), an independent project operated by Kumar Sanidhya, an individual based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India — not a separately registered legal entity. By creating an account or using our apps, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Flora lets you read public-domain books and your own uploaded books, chat with AI-generated versions of characters from those books, ask an AI assistant questions about what you're reading, and discuss chapters with other readers. Features are delivered through a pay-as-you-go credit system described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use Flora. If you are under 18, you confirm you have a parent or guardian's permission to use the app and to make any purchases. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload content you don't have the right to upload, or that infringes someone else's copyright
• Use the service to generate or distribute unlawful, abusive, or harmful content
• Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the app or its underlying systems
• Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or the credit system

4. AI-generated content

Character conversations and AI-generated explanations in Flora are produced by third-party AI models and are not statements from, or endorsed by, the original authors or any real person, living or dead. AI responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or reflect the underlying book's content and biases. Flora is for reading enjoyment and discussion, not professional, medical, legal, or educational advice.

5. Intellectual property

Public-domain texts made available in Flora remain public domain. Books you upload remain yours — you grant us only the limited right to store and process them so we can provide the reading and chat features to you. The Flora and Awwtomato names, logos, and app software are owned by Awwtomato and may not be used without permission.

6. Payments and credits

Some features require purchasing credits, priced in Indian Rupees and processed through our payment provider. Purchases are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy. We don't store your card or payment details — those are handled directly by our payment processor.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You can stop using Flora and request account deletion at any time by contacting us — see our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data on deletion.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Flora is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Awwtomato is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Flora after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
